FLOVAC IS THE FUTURE OF SMART, GREEN SEWERAGE COLLECTION SYSTEMS
THE INS AND OUTS
OF HOW FLOVAC WORKS.
Wherever your project is located, Flovac has a world-wide support network to supply advice, support and spare parts to ensure your vacuum sewerage system maintains its peak operational efficiencies.

GREEN SEWAGE SYSTEMS.
Vacuum Systems Don’t Suck.
A difference in pressure assists air to blow small quantities of sewage towards the vacuum pump station.
Low Power Use.
Vacuum systems use less power than pumping systems and power is only required at a single point in the entire network. This creates an opportunity to run the entire system on solar power.
Efficient Water Use.
Only small bursts of sewage move along the piping network based on pressure differential. This water efficient design can contribute to water conservation efforts and reduce the strain on local water resources.
Ease of Maintenance.
The entire network can be monitored by an operations centre. This allows for predictive failure analysis, troubleshooting and importantly the ability to pinpoint any infiltration from stormwater or groundwater.
Flexible Installation.
There’s no need for manholes for any change of direction. Vacuum mains go around, under or over any obstacles that are found in the ground during installation.
Sewerage Can Travel Uphill.
Vacuum systems can be installed in areas that are flat or even have slight inclines. This makes it ideal for coastal communities.
The Best Environmental Solution.
Vacuum mains cannot leak sewage from their pipes due to negative pressure in the lines. This also means that groundwater cannot enter the piping network as all pipes are sealed.
It’s a Safe system.
Homes are not directly connected to the vacuum source, but residents sewage flows via gravity to a collection pit which houses a vacuum interface valve. Residents can’t be sucked into the sewer.
